As compared to Tonko, Phil Steck does use a hybrid car. He also gets wind power for electricity at his home. He has a long history of accomplishments in Colonie.

Just letting you know that I did post your petition regarding the FLDS judge to Legally Kidnapped.

We would like to send our condolences out to the Davey family. We are unbelievably saddened by the news.
I have known Joanne and her family for a number of years, and would like to say that she was really one of a kind. She did everything with a sense of passion. She always had a kind word. She was the most genuine person I have ever met and I will miss her very much. The world was a better place because she was in it. There are not enough adjesctives to describe this person. I cannot believe I will never see this person again. I would like each of her children and family to know that she was loved by many and we would do anything for you, just ask. I respect your privacy and the need for your family to process this. I just felt the need to say or do something at this time.
God Bless,
Kent, Teresa, Alexis & Breauna

Take a look at this link from the Capital Region Business Review: http://www.bizjournals.com/albany/stories/2008/07/28/daily35.html
Buhrmaster has a good argument. The primary from Vasquez (who, by the way, does not live in the district and has no ties to the community) threatens the best chance the GOP has to win this seat in many years. The article points out that Vasquez only has $5k, making it impossible for him to win, but only to create a distraction that helps the Democrats by siphoning resources from Buhrmaster.
The fact that Vasquez barely met the threshold of signatures to be on the ballot counters any argument that the case was frivolous.
Vasquez is the GOP version of Joe Sullivan and Arthur Welser.
The fact that Mr. Vasquez

Josh,
Steve lives approximately 2 miles outside of the district. He has MANY ties to the community. I suggest you visit his website and keep an open mind. Or open your mind as the case may be.

Hey, did you ever get final numbers for Tonko in Montgomery County? He got 70% in Schoharie and 60% in Schenectady. I think he did better in Montgomery. How about Fulton?

Tonko got around 92% of the vote in Montgomery County. I don’t know about Fulton County.

Why was the blog about the death of Susan K. Glant removed from this blog site? Was her ex-husband, a sitting Florida judge responsible for pressuring the article to be removed?
Her death may not have been accidental… I am interested in uncovering the hidden truth to the facts surrounding her divorce, life after divorce, and death and the involvement of her ex-husband, David A. Glant, a circuit court level judge in Levy County, Florida. Susan was an intelligent attorney and her divorce from him was heavily publicized in the local papers in the mid-1990’s.
His bias and abuse of power is well-known throughout the judicial circuit and legal circles, and as is so typical, he remains on the bench. Although evidence is mounting and will be presented to federal authorities for investigation and prosecution. Do not let Susan’s death be swept under the rug. She was respected and a vibrant woman before his abuse and psychosis took its toll on her.
